Partners of the European Union-funded Start DSP project met in Ireland, on June 30 and July 1, 2026, to review the project's progress and coordinate the final phase of its implementation. Representatives from the consortium discussed the development of key educational resources, dissemination activities, and sustainability strategies while establishing a timeline for completing the project's remaining deliverables ahead of its conclusion.
A focus of the meeting was the completion of the project’s Competence Framework and Curriculum. After the presentation of the pilot report, partners approved the latest version of both resources for publication on the project website. It was also decided that the curriculum will be updated with links to the project's case studies. When the English versions are finished, the consortium will make a dissemination video that explains how the curriculum was developed following the Competence Framework.
Progress on the Start DSP online course was also reviewed. The pilot phase was extended to July 17th to allow time for more testing and feedback. During this period, work will continue on the translation of the modules, Educators Guide and learning pathways. A promotional video about the course has been completed. It will serve as a dissemination tool.
Also discussed was the development of the Assessment Tool and the Knowledge Hub. Translation of the tool and hub will be completed by the end of July. The Knowledge Hub will be updated. These updates will include new academic articles, blog posts from project partners, improved navigation, updated case study images, and additional introductory content to make the platform more accessible for educators and stakeholders.
The project's final events are scheduled between July and September of 2026. Partners reviewed these final project proposals. These events will include online and in-person events. Promotional plans and timelines were agreed upon for sharing the project’s results. The first online event will take place at the end of August, following the publication of the project resources in Spanish.
The communication and outreach efforts were reviewed which included the website, social media, newsletters, press releases, and promotion through education networks like EPALE: Together, these activities have increased visibility with LinkedIn posts gaining more than 1,300 impressions and attracting followers in the educational field.
Partners discussed the issue of sustainability following the end of the project. The goal is to have the project resources continue to be in use. Solutions included getting letters of intent form universities that are interested in using the Start DSP materials and also having a follow up meeting six months after the projects completion. The goal of this meeting would be to review the continued use of the website and resources.
The meeting ended with an action plan for July 2026. Key tasks include completing the curriculum and Educators Guide, finishing translations of the assessment tool and case studies, publishing pilot reports, updating the project website, and adding more content to the Knowledge Hub. These final steps will aid in successful completion of the Start DSP project and supporting entrepreneurship education across Europe by promoting digitalization, sustainability, and profitability.
